Is Eskom Stepping closer to business rescue?
Recent reports have given us more insight into the perilous position that Eskom finds itself in. Years of neglect and leadership who needs to balance commitments to working towards a Net Zero Economy against maintaining existing infrastructure to make sure that South Africa’s electrical grid does not face a complete collapse. These reports point to one thing, the company may be closer to business rescue, or indeed an independent business review followed by an intensive business turnaround plan, than Government or Eskom leadership care to admit.
